NEW: The Veils of Distortion and the Spark of Truth

Recorded in London, January 2007. God has created veils of light and darkness that separate us from Him. Traditionally the path teaches us to read these veils as signs that point us to the truth that lies behind them. However, in recent years humanity has also created its own veils, veils that distort our perception, and which lead only to more illusions. How can we know what is true in this world of distortion? How can we help the world when even our perception of the world is an illusion? There is a world that is waiting for us, that needs our presence, that needs the spark of our highest consciousness. Through our love and deepest desire for truth, we can be present in this primal world and help it to awaken.

The Magic of Creation and the Sword of the Creator

Recorded at the Omega Institute in June, 2006. These talks explore how we are caught by the dark magic of materialism, and how we need to change this magic spell if we are to transform the world and awaken it to its divine nature.

The first talk looks at the magic of creation: an older creative magic that belongs to the great mother and reveals the divine within life, and the soul-destroying magic of our consumer society.

The second talk explores how to alchemically create a new magic that can free us from these patterns.

The third talk evokes the primal masculine power of creation that is the spark that is needed to give birth to a new way of being. Only through an understanding of the magic within life can we work with the deeper magic of love that belongs to the core of creation.

We are being asked to be a container for this light, to bring it into the world and so participate in their work of global transformation.

Through spiritual practice and inner work we access the divine light within us. How can we then use this light in service to the whole? How can we align our inner light so that it can nourish life and help the world to awaken? The world needs the light of spiritual consciousness for its transformation, and these two talks explore this relationship between the individual and the whole, between our own soul and the soul of the world.

Recorded April 7th, 2005 at the Guild of Pastoral Pyschology in London. The Anima Mundi, the world soul, is the ordering and creative principle in creation. She is at the center of all things and yet she is hidden in the world. She is waiting to be used to connect us with the inner powers that belong to matter and life itself.

The Gift of Life

This is a talk given by Margaret Sampson at the London Interfaith Center at St. Anne's Church, London, England, in October 2002.

“... one of the greatest gifts we have is the capacity to breathe. We all know if we do not breathe we cannot live. The out-breath brings us into manifestation and the in-breath takes us back to God. Now, just look at that. Everyone here is breathing or we would not be alive. What a gift that is in itself, to have within us both the capacity to live and the capacity for remembrance of where we come from.”

Practical Spirituality

This is a talk given by Margaret Sampson at the London Interfaith Center at St. Anne's Church, London, England, in October, 2001.

“In the state beyond duality, inner and outer become one. Then inner change becomes as effortless as the dawn, which is contained within the darkness. Now, this is very important. In our present situation, the dawn is contained within the darkness. There is no great struggle as daylight comes into being, it just is, and can manifest. We just are and we can reach that state of becoming, within the silence and the stillness. It is as natural as being born.”
