"We hear the cry of the world and we respond to that cry." Creation itself is now calling to us, sending us signs of its imbalance. If we acknowledge our sacred role as guardians of the planet we will see the power of our prayers, our capacity to reconnect the earth just as we have cut it off. We are the connection between the creator and the creation. This is the special role of human beings.

Spiritual Ecology: article by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee
Published in the Interspiritual E-Zine, The Coming Interspiritual Age, page 71.
"As we stand at the edge of the abyss of climate change, species depletion and other effects of our continued ecocide, there is a vital need to make this shift into oneness: to relearn how to live in harmony with the whole with which we are so interconnected. We cannot afford to continue our present self-destructive behavior that is pushing us towards the "tipping point" of an ecological imbalance with unforeseeable global consequences."

Spiritual Ecology is an exploration of the spiritual dimension of our present ecological crisis. In particular these resources explore the interrelationship between our outer, physical ecological situation, our awareness of the sacred in creation, and our inner relationship to the symbolic world of the soul—and how this effects our own soul and the soul of the world, the anima mundi. |

 |
Begun by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee in 2000, Working with Oneness is a site which offers a body of teachings on the spiritual dimension of oneness, by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee and others. It is dedicated to connecting with individuals and spiritual groups of all types who are working towards the emerging consciousness of oneness that is central to our human and planetary survival and evolution. At this time there is a vital need to recognize the spiritual dimension to our present ecological crisis. Consciousness of oneness is an awareness of the unity and interconnectedness of all of life. |
